Overview
Founded in 1975, Wor-Wic Community College is a comprehensive community college that serves the residents of Worcester, Wicomico, and Somerset counties. Wor-Wic offers the first two years of a baccalaureate degree with programs such as general studies, business, computer science, electronics, and elementary and secondary teacher education, for those who want to transfer to a four-year college or university. Other credit programs are more occupational in nature, designed for individuals who want to enter the work force immediately after two years of college, or those who are employed and want to upgrade their skills or obtain a promotion.
