Overview
Devoted to helping students “get there from here,” Howard Community College offers more than 100 credit programs and a broad range of non-credit opportunities. The Charles Ecker Business Training Center offers workforce training.
Innovative learning communities include the nationally acclaimed James W. Rouse Scholars Program; the Silas Craft Collegians Program; and Project Access. Vibrant arts programs, including award-winning Rep Stage, are offered in the Horowitz Center. The annual $40,000 Columbia Classic Grand Prix brings world class equestrians to raise scholarship funds for the students.
In 2008, the college won Maryland’s most prestigious award for performance excellence, the U.S. Senate Productivity Award.
