Garrett College is especially noted for its outdoor program. The unique Adventure Sports degree, the only one in the United States, allows students to transfer as Recreation majors with concentration in adventure sports. The Natural Resources and Wildlife Technology degree emphasizes the interdependence of earth's elements. Agricultural Management is offered jointly with College Park. Additionally, the Juvenile Justice program prepares students to help incarcerated youth turn their lives around
