Maryland's first regional community college, Chesapeake College serves five counties on the Upper Eastern Shore.
Assures educational access through the main campus in Wye Mills, home to the Eastern Shore Higher Education Center, and locations in Easton at the Center for Allied Health, and at the Cambridge Center.
Chesapeake College brings classes to students' doorsteps through partnerships with local schools and businesses and through extensive distance learning opportunities. Students may choose from a comprehensive array of career programs including business, health, engineering technology, public service, and computer information systems from transfer programs designed to prepare students for further education at four-year institutions.
Strong regional partnerships, including those with Shore Health System, the Upper Shore Manufacturing and Business Council, and the Upper Shore Workforce Investment Board, are a cornerstone of the college's success. Chesapeake College is the regional center for cultural, economic, and social activities through its Todd Performing Arts Center and Economic Development Center.
